About Us
Tradition and heritage are the essence of Morocco, with olives and olive oil firmly rooted in our culture. Benefiting from a rich history, an optimal geography and centuries old savoir-faire, the country’s natural assets enable it to produce high quality olive oil that complies with international standards and requirements. Moroccan olive horticulture has earned high praise on the international market and a prominent presence in the world’s olive oil sector.
The olive oil sector in Morocco is growing exponentially. The sector now occupies an area of more than one million hectares, up from 773,000 in 2009.
This expansion of production is due to the country’s wide geographical area, its thousand-year-old culture and the great diversity of human generations who have cared for it.
